I loved that this poacher has six spots, since others appeared to have fewer. The construction of the pan & lid is great. However, the non-stick coating in the egg cups began to peel after a few makes use of, & now eggs either stick in the cups or come out with flecks of black coating. I am disappointed in the shortage of durability.

After writing this review, I decided to e mail RSVP International's customer support address to inquire about how to replace damaged egg cups. I emailed on Sunday night, & by 12:30 Monday morning, I received an answer requesting my address so they could mail me replacements. calphalon egg poacher sort of customer support is regrettably lacking in so lots of companies. I am happy to own & recommend this product, based on their willingness to be of such thorough assistance. I wish I could add stars back to my review. While I am still disappointed that the original cups were not more long lasting, I am so thrilled with the customer support I received that I would now rate the calphalon egg poacher much more highly.
